Unfortunately, approximately 7,542 other people also chose to visit the canyon on the day we were there.
Eventually I started seeing them as part of the landscape, and I think I got some neat incidental shots!
I had more photos made of me on this trip than I have in a couple of years. It was fun and I like being on the 'other' side of the camera, too.
i am really enjoying you being on the other side of the camera, if i looked as good as you do i would do it to, but when i see me in a photo i get really depressed. i like that last shot of the rocks.
ReplyDeleteI would feel also at home if I was there.
ReplyDeletethere is so much beauty in that landscape.

Beautiful shots of the Grand Canyon. I'm glad that you are enjoying your trip there:)
ReplyDeleteA lot of people, I think it's around 8,000 or more, like to go South to get out of the cold. Was this in the Valley of Fire State Park? You didn't mention that but it isn't too far from Vegas so I was just wondering. It is a beautiful place. I for one am glad you've got so many photos of you also, it helps to get to know you even better.
ReplyDeleteThere may have been a gillion people there, but it looks desolate and quiet.
ReplyDeleteFirst let me say that you look really good on the other side of the camera. The scenery is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHi Krista...you look just lovely making yourself at home on the beautiful red rocks. Great pic of you and your very tall drank!!
ReplyDeleteWhomever it is you have with you taking pictures needs to continue to be your side kick.

Just - Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHello Krista, as always your photos are beautiful in a really lovely!
ReplyDeleteWhew what a view is that the Grand Canyon? Never been there myself...kind of ironic when you think about it haha but oh well. You DID look at home there though! Such a magnificent place if you enjoy rocks and seeing something marvelous. :)
ReplyDeleteBtw I scrolled down and saw your shots of that guy on the beach and it looked like he was in one of those action movies running up the beach when the heroine first catches sight of him. LOL! Was that planned or did you just think, "Oh, a random dude running up the beach. Must take picture!"? ;)
