This time, it was shooting at the Las Vegas Gun Range! If you're interested in doing some shooting the next time you're in Vegas, I recommend the Las Vegas Gun Range. The man that helped us (I'm sorry I forgot his name. Is it Ron? Don? If you're reading this send me a note with your name so I can get it right!!) was friendly and well-informed, and he gave us a great safety rundown before we were allowed to shoot. I felt that I was in good hands, and when I needed some extra instruction with the handgun he gave me exactly the information I needed to shoot confidently and comfortably.
I shot an M-16 fully automatic machine gun...
And a Ruger 10/22 handgun.
Not too bad for a first-timer! (first time shooting a handgun; not first time shooting ever ;o))
And then, after the adrenaline rush was over, it was time for a glamour shot in the Nevada sunshine.
Annnnnd then not so glamourous! LOL!
Hahahaha I love the posing! ;D I'm surprised Ron (? Don? John? Lon?) let you wave those things around like a super spy! Nice work though Sista Krista. :) Shooting is pretty fun...if you hit the target! lol

ReplyDeleteanother name for this post could be "annie get your gun" these are really cool and i am jealous over the machine gun. i got to shoot a small one a couple of times and wow was it fun, but not as big as this one. this is something I would have loved to do, but NOT the glamour shots for me. ha ha
